With a reputation for clinical excellence and a compassionate approach to patient care, Dr. Md. Nurul Islam is one of Bangladesh’s most respected orthodontists. A graduate of the University of Dhaka with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Dr. Islam further advanced his academic journey in Japan, earning a Ph.D. in Orthodontics from Okayama University under the prestigious Japanese Government Monbukagakusho Scholarship.
He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Geriatric Dentistry from Showa University, Tokyo, and completed specialized training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at BSMMU, Dhaka.
Dr. Islam has over a decade of international clinical, teaching, and research experience. He served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Fellow in Japan, contributing significantly to groundbreaking studies in craniofacial development, stem cell biology, and dentinogenesis. His work is published in globally recognized journals, including Developmental Dynamics, Stem Cells, and The Journal of Biological Chemistry.
